Evangelisation, Education and Catechesis (PIDT)

Membership Criteria: All parishioners with an interest in Evangelisation, Education and Catechesis are welcome to apply to Father Joe to join this group.

Meetings Time & Location: Meetings in St Wulstan’s Parish Room at 7.30pm. Dates to be arranged.

Purpose of Group: To facilitate or arrange events which promote evangelisation, education in our faith and catechesis.

Activities of Group: Running Alpha and Anchor courses, 24 hrs of prayer, looking at ways to work with other Christian churches in Wycombe.

Activities and works

Oue group has facilitated an Alpha Course, run Anchor courses about the Mass for the parish, Anchor courses about the Mass and Sacrament of Reconciliation for parents of children making their First Holy Communion, 24 hours of prayer for peace in the world and persecuted Christians. Also looks at ways to work with our Christian brothers and sisters in Wycombe.

Projects

The group will be working with the Liturgy Group to coordinate the Mission for BJHN and St Augustine’s Parishes in May 2017.

Planned Group Events

Group meeting planned for June 2016 to discuss future events.
